General Questions

Q: Does this cost anything? A: It’s currently free during beta testing. We’ll have detailed pricing plans later.

Q: Which properties are included? A: All properties connected to your account sync automatically.

Q: Can my team members access this? A: Yes. Each team member can set up their own device to access the shared contact list.

Setup & Technical

Q: What’s a CardDAV password and is it different from my portal password? A: Yes, it’s a separate password you set on your first portal login. It’s used only for syncing contacts to your phone for added security.

Q: Do I need to set this up on each team member’s phone? A: Yes, each person who wants access should set up their own device following the same steps.

Q: What if I lose my CardDAV password? A: You can reset it in the portal under your account settings.

Contact Information & Privacy

Q: Is my guest data secure? A: Yes. Contacts are encrypted in transit and at rest on our servers. Once synced to your phone, they’re stored securely on your device.

Q: Can guests see that I have their contact information? A: No. This is a backend sync—guests have no visibility into your phone or contact setup.

Q: Can I customize how contact information appears? A: Currently, contacts display in the standard format. We’re actively working on customization options—stay tuned!
